RLC provided engineering services during the detailed engineering and construction phases to create construction-ready documents for the electrical, structural and civil disciplines of the project. Our work was performed towards developing the Stoughton, MA landfill site for a solar system.

Scope of Services:

  • Submitted Electrical and Structural Engineering Deliverables:
    • Conceptual Design Layout – Optimized Site with String Inverters
    • Utility Interconnection Application – Complete Package, Submittal and Support to the Utility to Approval
    • Created Detailed Design Drawings
    • Procurement Package – Equipment Technical Data Sheets
    • Developed PVSyst model – Final System Design
  • Provided Construction Support Services:
    • Responses – Requests for Information (RFI)
    • Site Inspections – Project Construction Evaluations
    • Reference Material – Created Record Drawings and Engineering Affidavits
  • Supported Testing and Commissioning :
    • Witness Engineer – Inverter and Transformer Vendor Site Testing
    • Utility Grade Relay – Setting and Associated Testing Activities
    • Infrared Survey of Solar System’s Major Components – Inverters, Transformer, Combiner Boxes, and Recloser
    • IV Curve Tracing – System PV Modules
