Location: Maine

The Pisgah Mountain Wind Farm is a 5-turbine facility. The wind farm is connected to the existing Emera Maine 115 kV transmission system via 1.25 miles of 34.5 kV Collector System that interconnects at a new substation constructed for the project.

Scope of Services:

• • Development of conceptual design of the collector system and substation for permit applications.
  • Detailed design of approximately one half mile of overhead 34.5kV collector circuit.

• Design of three quarters of a mile of underground 34.5kV collector system.

• Detailed design of a 34.5kV to 115kV collector substation featuring the economical use of a wood pole terminal bay structure.
