ProjectCanton Wind Project
The Canton Wind Project is an 8-turbine facility. The project will connect to the existing Central Maine Power 115 kV system via 3.4 miles of overhead and 1.8 miles of underground 34.5 kV collector system that interconnects at the Ludden Lane substation, which will be expanded for this project.
Scope of Services:
- Development of conceptual design of the collector system and substation expansion for permit applications.
- Detailed design of 3.4 miles of overhead 34.5 kV collector circuit, including approximately 1 mile of double circuit construction with the previously built Saddleback Ridge Wind collector system.
- Design of 1.8 miles of underground 34.5 kV ridgeline collector system.
- Detailed design of the expansion of Ludden Lane substation, including interconnection with the Central Maine Power switchyard and related protection and control changes and additions.
